Software Engineering graduate with a background in UI/UX design, iOS development and testing. I'm now focused on backend development with Python — and looking for a junior developer role where I can keep growing hands-on.

01About

From the window to the room.

I studied Software Engineering at the University of Jeddah and graduated with Second Honors. Since then, I’ve worked on software from more than one side of the glass.

At Enjaz Payment Services, I designed user flows for a retail money-transfer app and a corporate web platform, and kept their screens consistent with the design system. Before that, at the Apple Developer Academy, I built iOS features in Swift and SwiftUI with five-person teams — and tested them ahead of App Store submission.

Each role showed me another part of how software gets made. Now I’m going deeper, into the backend — strengthening my skills with Python to build on that foundation.

    • Designed the end-to-end user flow for international money transfer, from wireframes to high-fidelity, developer-ready screens.
    • Audited existing screens against the design system and corrected UI inconsistencies to maintain quality standards.

    • Extended the design system with new components to support evolving product needs.

iOS App · Apple Developer Academy

PlaceUp

An iOS app for discovering places by category and proximity, saving them, checking in, and rating them with a thumbs up or down. Delivered as a functional MVP within a 3-month academy timeline.

My part

  • Developed the frontend for multiple screens — explore, place details, rating, and profile screens for saved and checked-in places.
  • Contributed to backend integration using CloudKit to support place-saving, check-in and rating functionality.

A corrector filter for color blindness

A corrector filter designed to help people with color blindness tell colors apart — modeled, built and validated across three development sprints.

My part

  • Designed UML diagrams — class, use-case, flowchart, sequence, activity and state — to model the system’s architecture and behavior across three sprints.
  • Designed and executed functional test cases to validate the filter against user requirements, making sure the accessibility features worked as intended for people with color blindness.
